All items are made in Japan, specifically crafted using high-quality Hokkaido Oak for both the bokuto and jo. This wood offers durability and a lightweight design, ideal for your training needs. The carrying bag is made from highly durable and abrasion-resistant tetron to ensure long-lasting protection for your equipment.

Perfect for Keiko
This set is ideal for Iaido and Jodo practice. The Akamu Japanese Oak bokuto and jo are both handcrafted in Hokkaido, Japan. Their quality makes them a great choice for daily practice, and the carrying bag ensures your gear stays secure and easy to transport.

Important Note
While the Hokkaido Oak used in this set is great for general training, it may not be suitable for high-impact or heavier styles of keiko. For those practices, we recommend upgrading to standard white oak.
