White soy sauce comes from Aichi, one of the most wheat-producing regions of Japan also known in the archipelago for its tasty water. Unlike classic soy sauces, it is produced with 90% wheat and 10% soy. It is this significant use of wheat that gives the sauce a light, almost transparent color, as well as a mild taste.

Flavor: White soy sauce has a mild, long taste, round in the mouth and rich in umami .

Thanks to its lighter color, white soy sauce is very useful in cooking for seasoning your dishes and sauces while retaining their pretty natural color. You can add it to your omelettes, savory flans, broths and other cream and egg-based preparations, but also use it in your salads or with your simmered fish and meats.

Ingredients : Water (48.08%), Wheat (30.81%), Salt (16 .58%), Alcohol (2.49%), Defatted soy (1.99%), Vitamin B1 (0.05%)

Allergens: Wheat, soy

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, in the refrigerator after opening.

Yamashin Jozou has dedicated more than 200 years to producing essential ingredients for traditional Japanese cuisine such as miso, mirin, soy sauce and more particularly white soy sauce. In 1802, when Yamashin Jozou was born, the city of Edo was full of companies producing traditional condiments like it and the presence of commercial ports helped to energize the region. In addition to being established in a dynamic region where the population was booming, the company also benefited from the abundance of raw materials necessary to manufacture its products such as rice and soy. These favorable circumstances allowed the company to grow to the point of becoming a leader in white soy sauce. Today, white soy sauce which is very popular in the best Japanese gastronomy restaurants comes to you through Yamashin Jozou and Umami Paris.
