This unexpected fusion between sudachi and cucumber, both produced in Tokushima, gives rise to this fresh and tangy syrup. It contains more than 20% sudachi juice, an emblematic citrus fruit of the region reminiscent of lime. Combined with the freshness of the sudachi, apple vinegar is also used to bring sweetness and balance the sweetness of the syrup.
Flavor : Sweet, with tangy and fresh notes of citrus and a good taste of cucumber.
You can dilute 2 spoons of syrup in a glass of still or sparkling water, for a lightly flavored and fresh drink. This syrup will be ideal for a cocktail base or in a fruit salad. It can also be incorporated into dessert recipes, and can be used as a syrup to flavor crushed ice in the style of Japanese kakigori.

Conservation: Store at room temperature and away from sunlight, heat and humidity. After opening, store in the refrigerator.
The company Bando Foods is a very small family company, based in the Tokushima department (Shikoku island) , which cultivates Japanese citrus fruits yuzu, sudachi and yukoh on an area of more than 7700m². All fruits are grown between 300 and 400 meters above sea level. Its annual production is around 25 tonnes. Part of its production is sold as is in Japan. The other part is transformed into products such as the yuzu and sudachi juices that we offer to you. It is one of the only companies in Japan to be certified organic for Japanese citrus fruits, from the cultivation of the fruits to the their production This is why Umami is one of the only companies in France to be able to offer pure organic yuzu and sudachi juices.
