Matsui Gin The Hakuto Premium is a gem proudly produced by the Kurayoshi distillery. Finished with spring water obtained from Mount Daisen, the botanical blend created a complex gin that was spicy yet sweet and refreshing.
Deliciously blended with a total of 14 carefully selected natural ingredients, including juniper berry, coriander seeds, orange peel, yuzu peel, pepper
Japanese sansho, gyokuro, sakura (cherry blossom), black pepper, nashi pears, specialty of Tottori prefecture as well as 5 other high-end medicinal plants.
Hakuto means "white rabbit" and is also named after a myth from Tottori Prefecture where the Kurayoshi Distillery resides.
Fresh but spicy aromas with a peppery note and complex Japanese botanicals at 47% Vol., give this gin maximum flavor with depth and intensity.
TASTING NOTES:
DRESS : Clear, transparent.
NOSE: Floral, vegetal, citrus and lingering fresh pears.
MOUTH: Fruity, fresh pears and green apples. Peppery notes and green tea. Good depth.
